Fire Behaviour Knowledge Base
Add New Site Fix
January 11, 2008
I would like to thank everyone for their feedback over the past few months. Your input has allowed us to fix unforeseen problems and improve the Fire Behaviour Knowledge Base.
One concern brought to our attention was that some users were unable to add new sites. This problem has been corrected for all future installs and the following are instructions on how current users can rectify this issue.
The CSGUID.dll found in the Fire Behaviour Knowledge Base has to be registered. The easiest way to do this is to Search for REGSVR32.EXE. Once the search results returns this file, drag the CSGUID.dll file from the Fire Behaviour Knowledge Base folder onto the REGSVR32.EXE in the search results. This will register the file, correcting the issue, and allowing new sites to be added.
If you have further issues, you can uninstall the FBKB (be sure to remove the empty fold from the program files), and download the Uber Light FBKB (since you'll already have R and MySQL installed).
Your role in the development of the FBKB is important to us, and we appreciate your suggestions and comments.
